Over the last week my stars software has been lag'ing very hard and causing problems. Today, while playing a table popped up out of nowhere and I ended up clicking my mouse on the fold button.... I had AA preflop(I fold AA preflop about once every 2 months because of mass-tabling and missclicks). The interesting part is that I would have probably lost the hand anyway (lol at the postflop action), but there is a good chance I would have got stacks in preflop, due to the sizing the villain made and his stack....
This reminds of another sick fold I made a couple of months ago, hand witch I will never forget for the rest of my life, because of how tilting it was. I was on a fast table and did not realise that I did not have any time left in my time bank. Villain (a huge whale) made a very small bet and while I was typeing a raise in the bet-box my time expired and my hand was auto-folded. After that, the villain showed me his hand(he was never folding it). This is definetly the hand that tilted me the most, since I started playing poker. Here are both hands:

Christmas comes early
Today I found out about this: "The Russian Supreme Court has ruled this month that "no trace of gambling should remain on the web."" The full article is here: http://www.pokerupdate.com/news/law-and-legislation/russia-gambling-information-illegal/ This is great news for me because the russian shortstackers have been killing the games for the last 6months and they have decreased my winrate with about 3bb/100. So anything that stops them from multipling or restricts their numbers is very good news for me and for the healph of the games.
Also I had 2 fun hands today where the villains basicly gave me their stack(I wish this would happen more often:D):

My favourite top 5 bluffs from live televised poker
Bonus hand:
This hand was not recorded on video but is very sick:
The hand took place in the first 1million$ buy-in tournament (the 2012 WSOP One drop tournament). Phil Galfond tweeted the following:
Eugene Katchalov said that Mikhail Smirnov did indeed fold quad eights to John Morgan.
Katchalov sayed that Tom Dwan had opened and received a call from
Smirnov and Morgan before the fell. Dwan checked and Smirnov bet. Morgan called and Dwan folded.
The turn was the
and Smirnov bet 200,000. Overhearing a conversation from Smirnov, he
said Morgan called within five seconds and looked extremely excited
about the hand.
The river completed the board with the and Smirnov bet 700,000. Morgan raised all in for 3.4 million total and Smirnov tank-folded the face up for all to see.
5th place (5bet bluff with 52 offsuit preflop by Phil Ivey in High Stakes Poker Season 6 Episode 8):
4th place (Brad Booth makes a legendary overbet bluff on Phil Ivey on the flop repping a set. Ivey is then forced to laydown the pocket kings. Awesome read by both players, Ivey nearly called)
3rd place (Barry Greenstein raises with AA UTG, and everyone at the table calls. then the hand starts getting crazy)
2nd place (the hand took place at the ausie millions 2012 250k$ event - Ivey bluffs a recreational player off a set)
1st place (Tom Dwan bluffs Ivey in a 670.000$ pot)

results update
Hey guys. Since my last results update (http://danuuutz.blogspot.ro/2012/11/mid-month-review-november.html) I have been running extremely bad. I also took a shot at 200NL in this weekend and managed to somehow lose all the hands I played there and get destroyed at those tables. It is quite funny how I allways run so ridiculouse when I try to move up a bit in stackes. I guess I should just stick to my 25-100NL for a while longer. Here is the graph(I am very ashamed of it but there is nothing I can do about it):
Here is a funny hand I played today versus an unkown player(it amuses me how fish love to lead out/"value bet" their equity... I guess he got max value from me):

booooom
In the last couple of days I did not get mutch going. I hit another period in witch I get rivered 120% of the time after barelling with a very strong hand. Also I had a couple of regs that doing some sick bad plays against me, but eventually sucked out on me witch has tilted me a bit. The good thing is that I don't do huge mistackes when tilted(and don't lose that mutch money either). The only bad thing is that tilt stops me from putting in the volume that I would have liked to(this is why I am sad).
Anyway here are some cool hands played today(I love the boom player... The other one I used to use crashed a couple of days ago:(.):
Facing the classic limp/3bet from a fish is allways scary(especially when they do it with a very disguised hand... I am happy he played it perfectly postflop):

Longest session
Today I managed to play my longest session ever in terms of number of hands -- 9758 hands. I feel like I play very good, in these long session compared to playing shorter sessions with breaks in between. Looking back into the past holdem manager comfirms this. So from now on I will try to play 5000-6000 hand sessions every day to see how it goes. Here are the results from my longest sessions from this year:
I am very close to making supernova (I need only 5000 more VPP's) so I am going to play a lot this month and try to bink supernova in the next couple of days. I also played a lot of sitngos lately to see if it is possible to put a lot of volume in these, and evaluate if I could go for sne next year by mixing cash play (I estimate I could make 300,000VPP's at my current stakes) and sng's (I would need to make 700,000VPP's - and also be at least breakeven in these - in order to be motivated to go for sne)...
I found out today that sng's play very very different in sundays, compared to the rest of the week. A lot of players have no ideea of what ranges they are suposed to shove/call or any ICM and I will definetly need to adjust to these villains.

Mid-month review - november
This month has been so far the best for me from this year in terms of volume, winnings and VPP's. I changed my game a bit, plugged a couple of leaks, played A-game and ran good. So far I have won 10bb/100 at 25-100NL. I don't think this winrate is sustaineble, but I hope I will make at least 8bb/100 from now on. My target now is to make supernova by the end of the month (I need only 7000 more VPP's) Here is the graph and some cool hands:
Here villain had backdoor straight+backdoor flush draw:
A pair for everybody in this hand:) :
Good luck at the tables guys...

Grinding software I use
***I just wanted to point out, that I don't get any benefit for promoting any of the following software. I made the post only with the intention of helping out other poker players and posting interesting topics on my blog. Thank you.***
Cons: None
Cons: very difficult to set up and also uses a lot of CPU and RAM resources (a medium or entry level computer will not run it smothly)
1. f.lux (free program)
F.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to
the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day. It reduces eye strain it makes it mutch more easy to read, play online poker or justwork at the computer for long hours. This program has helped me a lot to increase my grinding volume and makes y eye's feel better. I allready had my brigtness level of my monitors set to 0 before using this program, but F.lux turned the brighteness down even more.
Pros: Great program that everyone should use and it is freeCons: None
2. Note Caddy (60$ or option to get it free by creating a poker account and making some rake)
Note caddy is a program that takes more notes for you than you could make yourself by making them manually. It is now availeble only for HM2 users.
It also shows you specific range for some stats (for example: range for 3betting a TAG, or limping range from EP, or 3barell bluff range). This mixes up very good with your HUD and gives you a better image of you a certain villain is playing.
It also can be configured to show on the HUD, badges (icons that appear when a villain has a certain tendency that can be exploited). These icons will allow you you to increase your winrate by taking certain lines when you see this icons.
Pros: gives you a clear image of the ranges a certain villain has, improves winrateCons: very difficult to set up and also uses a lot of CPU and RAM resources (a medium or entry level computer will not run it smothly)
3. Tablescanturbo (79.95$ or option to get it free by creating a poker account and making some rake)
TableScanTurbo is a professional table selection software.
It scans the tables of your selected stakes in your poker clients, retrieves player statistics from your HoldemManager or PokerTracker database, and displays them in an easy-to-read format -- enabling you
to quickly and easily find the most desirable tables with the weakest
opponents!
It also has a autowaitinglist feature that automaticly joins waitlists if a certain table meets a certain criteria. If playing 25-100NL on pokerstars, TableScanTurbo will scan the lobby and join the waitnglists in about 2-3minutes.
Pros: Very powerfull program that helps with table selection (I use it when 16-24 tabling to have more time at the tables but prefer to search the lobby manually when playing less than 16 tables because I have a very good colorcoding sistem)
Cons: Difficult to set it up.4. Table Ninja (59.99$ or option to get it free by creating a poker account and making some rake)
TableNinja is a suite of tools that allows multitablers to play more
tables with less effort so that they can increase their hourly win rate.
By removing minor distractions, you are now able to concentrate on
playing poker.
Pros: great program. everybody should use table ninja or a similar program
Cons: Table ninja has 3 programs (for stars, FT and partypoker) and I understand that they can't run at the same time. I would have loved if they created a single program that could work on all the sites at the same time.
For players that don't have the budget to buy table ninja, but they play on stars I recommend this program: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/168/free-software/starscash-free-script-pokerstars-containing-all-functions-cash-player-may-need-674166/ It has the same features as table ninja but is free. The only con is that is does not have a option for automatic betsizing and that you will not receive any updates for it.

Going in the wrong direction
In the last 10 days I have been running horrible. I am losing 80% of the pots that are bigger than 30bb and can't get anything to work. In most medium and big pots, I flop the nuts, 2 barell it (still having the nuts on the turn) and face a sick river card witch makes me either fold the river after investing a lot in the pot, or close my eyes and call (and lose a even bigger pot)... I have periods like this once every 2 months and allways have problems putting in the volume that I would like to. This is what I hate the most about poker...
Here is the graph of my last 20k hands and instead of posting one of my hundreds of coolers I will post a funny hand that I actually won:
It's allways nice to have a villain overplay a 4 card straight on a double-paired board. These hands give me confidence, pleasure and make me smile and help me put in more bigger volume when running bad. Too bad these hands are rare and they are followed by 30 big pots that I lost...

Octomber 2012 Review
Octomber was a average month for me, until the last 6 days in witch I hit one of the worst downswings that I had this year (a strech of hands in witch I was not winning any medium or big pots)... It took me a while before I realized that I should move down in stakes to regain confidence in myself and get some momentum back(this cost me a lot of money ... ). 25NL was allways a limit that I crushed no matter how bad I ran and it is allways relaxing to play there... This month was the best for me in volume however... I upgraded my poker setup by buying a 27" dell monitor, witch has a sick resolution and will definetly help me play bigger volume and focus more.
Here are the results from september:
123,390 Hands Played
10,443 VPPs
+ 1,793$(Cash Game Winnings)
+ 417$ (FPP Cash Bonus)

+ 2,210$ (Total Month)
And the graph and results by stakes:
