September 2012 Review

September was a average month in results (for this year), but I considered I ran bad and had tens of bad beats every day. All the run bad and some electric problems I had, made me play the lowest amount of hands from this year. The games had a lot of fish in them but  the amount of shorstacked regs doubled this month... Most tables have 5-6 shortstackers witch is hurting the game and making everybody play tighter.

Here are the results from september:
95,248 Hands Played
8,260 VPPs

+ 2,096$(Cash Game Winnings)
+330$ (FPP Cash Bonus)
+100$ (WCOOP Reload Bonus)
-$240 (Online Tourney Losses)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
+2,286$ (Total Month)

WCOOP 2012 main event

The WCOOP 2012 main event took place this sunday and it has quite an interesting story. The winner is micro stakes russian 1$ 180man sng regular who qualified for this event by playing a 100FPP(1.6$) sattelite in order to receive the 5200$ entry into the main event. In my opinion this is an amazing achievement and I hope it will generate a mini Moneymaker effect to the online poker.

"After several levels of FPP qualifiers, 25 hours of deep stacked, high velocity play and close to 60 minutes of six-handed deal negotiations, a low stakes Russian grinder has won the WCOOP Main Event pocketing a life-changing $1,000,907.26. There's the money, yes, but there's so much more for our new WCOOP champion "maratik"; there's the bracelet and the glory."

Here are the results of the WCOOP Event #65 ($5,200 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event) (*reflects six-way deal):
1st: maratik (Russia) -- $1,000,907.26*
2nd: Ryan "TheCart3r" Carter (Canada) -- $662,516.39*
3rd: Jossel2008 (Ireland) -- $814,602.12*
4th: Mike "munchenHB" Telker (Cyprus) -- $1,000.584.34*
5th: sly caveat (Portugal) -- $601,884.93*
6th: FOO-92 (Germany) -- $502,992.46*
7th: Kakalala (Denmark) -- $182,500.00
8th: Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil (Canada) -- $136,875
9th: mitdadu (Russia) -- $91,250.00
Entrants: 1,825
Places paid: 225

I have played myself in 2 x 215$ WCOOP events this year but did not cash in any... Maybe next year I will have more succes... Here is the final table highlights from the WCOOP main event, and from 2 over tournaments from the WCOOP witch I really enjoyed watching:

Milestone hand from 1 month ago

After playing 1milion hands on stars I finally managed to be dealt in one of the milestone hands. The problem is that I was playing 4/4/0 at that table before the milestone hand was dealt....:(  Still I won 200$ from it... Allways nice.  Here is a video I filmed with it.
