I don't remember if I ever had a month as bad as april. Played pretty resonable and also took some shots at 100NL but nothing went in my favour.

  1. Seems like many full time regs had one of their worst month ever this month. Wonder why.

Anyway i have one quick question for you: I see that you`r fold vs river cbets is very low. Is this a result of your cold calling being quit tight, or is there something more to it ? Do you often make hour decision on the flop to call down unless the board changes in villain`s faviour ? Mine is very high, and im wondering if im putting to much money in the pot on earlier streets just to fold a lot on the river.

    1. what sample do you have on my fold vs river cbet? and what is my percent. I probably fold few times because I have a very tight range preflop, and that range is also filtered on the flop and turn and so my river range is extremely strong.

I think folding a lot on the river at micro/small stakes can't be bad because its rarerly a bluff. But you could try to get there with a stronger range.

    2. its 9% over 11 samples, or 1 out of 11, so obviously not that many samples. Mine is around 58% which has to be to high even with slightly loser cold calling range. In other words im very bluffable, but then again they always tend to have it when i decide to "hero" call. I probably have to construct my defending ranges a little better and choose better spots to bluff catch.

    3. yes... 9% is very low and 58% is very high.... I think mine is around 25% over larger sample.... I recommend you think about a plan, for what you are going to do when you are on the flop.... Either fold more there, or if you call there, call down more on the turn and river(if the board texture does not change too much)

    4. Yeah was thinking the same. Thanks=)
Btw is it mostly 25nl you`ve been playing this month ? And do you combine both 25nl and 50nl or do you play the stakes seperatly per session? I find the 50nl a lot more reg heavy compare to 25nl in the week, but in the weekends they`re both great, so i play more 50nl then. Im thinking about combining them more and just sit on the best tables regardless if its 25nl or 50nl=)

    5. I combine 25-100NL these days.... If I keep running as poor as in april I will once again dump 100NL forever.....

  2. Hey, danuutz! Man, you're a beast! Do you give coaching lessons? I'm grinding NL25, hoping to do just as well as you some day... now I understand, if you don't want to educate your competition, but it seems like we play at different times. I've played 100k hands of NL25 in April and yet, we've played <1k hands together.
(I'm not asking for free coaching btw, or a study group... I think you can teach me a lot more than the other way around. ^^)

    1. I am a terrible player. Just look at my april graph. Sorry but its better to keep my leaks to myself; there is no point in learning other people to play bad like me... Good luck.

    2. Yeah, 5BB/100 over 4M hands... I'd like to be that kind of terrible as well. :)
But np, gl on the tables!

  3. Why do you cbet so little btw ? Do you find it better to ch/fold more and balance your checking range by ch/calling more stronger hands ? My cbet % is around 60, and i pretty much cbet every strong hand in my range, and a lot of air, but im interested in an alternative cbetting strategy, and are wondering if your approach is better.
